Warranty Terms – Fliq™
2-Year Legal Warranty on Fliq™ Products
As a consumer within the European Union, you are entitled to a 2-year legal warranty on electronic devices, including your Fliq™ magnetic selfie monitor. This warranty protects you against defects that existed at the time of delivery or faults that appear during normal use.
This warranty follows the rules set out in EU Directive 1999/44/EC and its successor Directive (EU) 2019/771.
What Does the Legal Warranty Cover?
Under EU law, you are entitled to free repair or replacement if your product:
- Is defective at the time of delivery (non-conformity), or
- Develops a functional fault within 24 months that is not caused by misuse, accidental damage or improper handling.
Burden of proof:
- During the first 12 months, any defect is presumed to have existed at delivery unless proven otherwise.
- During the second 12 months, you may be asked to demonstrate that the issue is not the result of misuse.
Your Rights Under the Warranty
If your product becomes defective within the warranty period, you are entitled to one of the following solutions:
- Repair of the product
- Replacement of the product
- If repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate: a refund or appropriate price reduction
Fliq Gear will determine the most suitable solution based on the nature of the defect.
What Is Covered?
The legal warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Functional faults
- Non-conformity present at the time of delivery
- Repairs or replacements carried out at no additional cost if the product qualifies for warranty service
Please note:
- The defect must be reported within a reasonable period after you notice it (preferably within 2 months).
- The product must have been used under normal conditions and according to the instructions.
What Is Not Covered?
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, improper handling or accidents
- Normal wear and tear
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Improper storage or exposure to unsuitable conditions
Cosmetic wear — such as scratches, discoloration or minor scuffs — is not considered a defect and is therefore excluded.
How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe your Fliq™ product is faulty, contact us at:
support@fliqgear.com
Include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the defect (if applicable)
If the problem qualifies for warranty coverage, we will provide instructions on how to return the item and advise you on the next steps (repair, replacement or refund).
Additional Notes
- The legal warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Warranty claims must be made directly to Fliq Gear or through the official point of sale.
